New York City Interior Design
Ru Designs is a full-service interior design studio crafting warm, considered homes across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and beyond — from the first concept sketch to the final cushion.
The Studio Story
Ru Designs was founded in New York City on a simple belief: a beautiful home should also be an easy one to live in. We pair warm, layered materials with practical planning so every room works as well as it looks — whether it's a compact West Village rental or a full brownstone renovation.
Spaces planned around real routines, storage, and the way light moves through your home.
A calm, transparent process with clear budgets, timelines, and one designer who knows your project inside out.
What We Do
Whether you need one room refreshed or a full apartment renovation managed end to end, we handle the details so the process feels clear and unhurried.
Concept, layouts, finishes, custom millwork, and styling for entire homes or single rooms — handled from start to finish.
